
Elizabeth is the only woman to ever win the US Single-handed Jr. Championship, which put her name on the trophy next to many current America’s Cup sailors. In college, Elizabeth was the Captain for the Yale University Women’s Sailing Team. From there, Elizabeth went on to qualify for the US Sailing Team seven times. She achieved top five ISAF World Rankings in both the 470 Dinghy and the Yngling Keelboat classes. Elizabeth is a three time National Champion in three different classes of boats and two disciplines. Elizabeth has competed both as a skipper and tactician on the Women’s Match Racing Tour. Elizabeth’s keelboat experience also includes being tactician on several Swan 45s. Elizabeth is known for her passion for sailing and approach to encouraging sailors of all ability levels. Most recently, she coached the Austrian 2008 Olympic 470 Teams, the US I-420 Worlds Team, and an Italian Farr 40 team.
