During her college career, Alana earned ICSA All-American honors in 2004, 2005, and 2006. In 2006, Alana led the College of Charleston sailing team to their first ICSA North American Women’s Championship. The same year, she was awarded the 2006 Quantum Women’s College Sailor of the Year. For the past five years, Alana has been the Assistant Sailing Coach at Georgetown University. During her time as coach, the team has won two ICSA North American Championships, had two College Sailors of the Year, as well as numerous All-Americans.
